Mt Buller Base Camp

A Base Camp is being offered at Mt Buller from Friday  12^th of March till Wednesday 17^th of March 2027.

Accommodation has been booked at Merrijig Lodge at Mt Buller.  It will be twin share in bunk rooms but not using top bunks.  There are shared bathroom facilities.  A speciality of the Lodge is that meals are provided by a chef and the food is reported to be very good.  A hot/cold breakfast and three course dinner are provided.  Dinner will be provided on the arrival evening, 12^th of March.

You will need to bring your own food for lunches.  There are plenty of fridges to store this. There is a lounge and bar area for happy hour, byo for that.  Linen is provided but not towels.

The cost is $130 per night per person so for five nights $650.  A 20% deposit will need to be paid later in the year, you will receive a request for payment with the balance due a month before the camp. A reminder will be sent.

The daily walks are still being researched.  It is expected they will be medium to hard due to the terrain.  A recce trip maybe organised later in the year October/November.  More detail on the walks will be provided closer to the Camp.
