Mt Lofty - Clifford Park loop

We'll meet at the carpark at the end of Lower Homestead rd in Wonga Park where we'll go straight up our first climb of many throughout the day. We'll walk anti-clockwise around Mt Lofty where there will be some spectacular views across to the Bend of Isles and Heritage Golf Course, before stopping by the river for morning tea. We'll then continue along the Yarra river, Scouts track and Market Garden track before breaking for lunch at Monique's island. The home stretch will be along Lucerne Paddock track, Clifford rd and a little bit of private land which we have permission to walk on. 

The hike will be about 16kms and is on the harder side of medium due to the steepness of some of the hills (both up and down). 

Morning tea, lunch, poles and appropriate weather gear is recommended.
