DESCRIPTION:Meeting place is Boronia Reserve at the end of Leeds Street (Me
 l 47K3)\, at 09.20 for a 9.30 start.&nbsp\;
 &nbsp\;&nbsp\; The walk begi
 ns alongside the oval after a few minutes and turn right onto the Koonung 
 Creek track.&nbsp\; The path is macadam all the way so a bit hard under fo
 ot and very popular with cyclists.&nbsp\; First we will come to Wetherby/M
 iddleborough Road and shortly after that turn left onto the footbridge\, c
 ross the freeway and continu along the south side of the freeway under Tra
 m/Station Road and Elgar Rd.&nbsp\; We continue past the Elgar Park Hockey
  Fields and into the Koonung Linear Park wetlands.&nbsp\; We will take the
  diversion over bridge and down onto the walkway through the swamp.&nbsp\;
  The swamp hens have a technique in bending reeds.&nbsp\; A little further
  on\, a bit short of Doncaster Road\, we will stop in a small park for mor
 ning tea (10.45).&nbsp\; Then we retuned the same way
