Between the Boathouses

Starting from Kanes Bridge we walk along narrow rough foot tracks along both sides of the Yarra. Look at one of the biggest fruitbat colonies in the Southern Hemisphere. Lovely bushland in our urban environment. Morning tea in picnic area near Fairfield boathouse and lunch at Bellbird Picnic area.

 Wear sturdy boots and walking poles if you use them due to condition of track. 10km

 Please note: If conditions too wet, we start from same spot but meander along Yarra and Merry creek.
