Mt. Cooper/Darebin Creek Trail Circuit

The walk commences at 9.30 from Bundoora Park Information Centre Car Park Melway Map 19 F3.  After entering Bundoora Park via Plenty Rd turn right onto River Red Gum Ave and drive to the Information Centre car park, (toilets available).

The walk follows River Red Gum Ave via the parkland (no poles required unless you normally use them) to Mt.Cooper the highest natural mountain in Metro Melbourne at 137 meters above sea level (no oxygen required) - Views of Macedon and Kinglake Ranges. We then follow the powerlines through Bundoora Golf Course (no golf clubs required) to the Darebin Creek Trail (no canoes required).

The walk is 70% on flat parklands tracks, there will be a short drink and snack break before returning via Clements Reserve, Water's Way to the Information Centre Cafe for those who would enjoy a coffee before heading home. Total distance is 8.5kms
