Grass Trees Walk - Brisbane Ranges
Grass Trees are the highlight of this walk and will be pretty in spring with wild flowers & orchids blooming as well making this a really pretty circuit walk..
The circuit is clearly marked on well formed tracks with short sections of road and fire trails.
There is a steep descent of approx. 600mtrs with loose shale and short undulations come and go.
Hiking poles are recommended
NOTE: The presence of Cinnamon Fungus poses a serious threat to flora and fauna. Please clean your boots properly before and after the walk.
This combined walk with Koonung is14kms and starts 8.30am at the of Junction of Thompsons Road and Mcleans Highway - Balliang.
