Murrindindi Scenic Reserve

This is a joint walk with Koonung Bushwallking Club.  This is a 14km circular walk that starts at the Blackwood Suspension Bridge car park (toilets available) at 9.00 am for 9.15 commencing the walk.  We will be following the Murrindindi River Walk for an hour to Water Gauge Camp for morning tea (toilets available).  We will then climb up the Boroondara Track for 2 hours (451m elevation gain, whereby one section is steep and long) to arrive at our lunch spot besides the Falls Creek river.  After lunch we will walk to the Wilhelmina Falls viewing platform and the falls before returning to the cars along the Murrindindi River Walk.  Poles recommended, some steep sections and some scrambling over fallen trees. Great bush tracks through a changing forest with excellent views and river scenery.    If you are car pooling meet at Eltham Little Theatre at 7.15am for a 7.30am departure.   Car pooling cost is $13.00.
