Debs Fungi Forage Walk Mt Macedon

The wonderful Deb is leading a "Fungi Forage" around Mt Macedon, supported by Lynda - details and distance to be confirmed after the recce.

Poles recommended as it can get muddy and slippery on the Mount. Bring water, morning tea, lunch and dress appropriately for the weather.  Pack your camera/phone, a small mirror can help you take photo's under the mushroom cap and a small torch can provide extra light as fungi often hides in dark crevices.  There can be leeches so suggest wearing a hat with a brim, bring preventative leech spray, or salt, tucking your trouser legs into your long socks or wearing gaiters also helps.
