40th Anniversary Walk Sweeneys Flats and Killeavey (4)

This is a lovely local walk in Yarra Valley Parklands which connects two circuits, Sweeneys Flats and Killeavey Homestead. Most of the walk runs adjacent to the river with a section along Sweeneys Lane and Yarra Braes Rd. Since this walk is a figure 8, walkers can choose to finish at the first loop which is a 7km circuit and finish before lunch or stay on for the second loop which is a further 5km.

We will have lunch at Killeavey near the end of the full walk.

Please meet at the junction of Reynolds and Yarra Braes Rd: MEL: 22 F 9, ///flap.fats.upset, ready to start walking  by 9:15.

Bring: trekking poles, morning tea, water. Include lunch if you are walking both loops.
