Plenty Gorge -Gorge Rd to Blue Lake

Circuit walk from Middle Gorge car park starting along the track overlooking the Plenty River - hopefully we can find the eagles nest (if still there). Head down to the Welcome Back Bridge crossing over and heading back overlooking Blue Lake along the many bike paths which wind along taking the Riverside Track back to the start. Some of the tracks are quite narrow, rocky, steep and slippery so poles recommended. Elevation is 360m ascent and total distance around 13k. Bring morning tea & lunch - no toilets available.
