This walk is in a lovely part of the Brisbane Ranges especially when the wildflowers are present.

Parking is available in the Anakie Gorge Picnic Site which is at the end of Gorge Road.  Start the walk by following the Anakie Gorge Walk path to the Lower Stoney Creek Reservoir.  It was built in 1874 and is on the national engineering heritage list for significant innovations in dam building.  Return by Anakie Gorge Track and  follow until it joins Burchell Trail.  There is a short side track up to a lookout where you can appreciate the views.  Return by the Outlook Track, Aqueduct Track, Ted Errey Nature Circuit and finally rejoin Anakie Gorge Walk Track back to the car park.

The drive from Eltham is approx. 115 km and 1h 35 m.
