Lyrebird Walk .Grant’s Picnic Ground

The walk will commence at Grants Picnic Ground and walk in the beautiful Sherbrooke Forest 

Approximatly 12 km

If you would like to car pool we will meet at Mullum  Mullum at 8.00 leaving at 8.15.

Or you can meet us at the start of the walk at Grants Picnic Ground Mel 75 K 4 at 9.00

Please indicate where you would like to meet and if you are prepared to drive.

We will walk a figure of 8 in Sherbrooke Forest 

Walking on bush tracks and gravel paths.Some of the track may be slippery.

Hilly ,including a long steep ascent 

The male Lyrebird sings and displays  in winter.Last year we heard many Lyrebirds calling.

Please bring water ,morning tea ,lunch and poles if you use them

It can be cold and wet in August .Please bring warm clothing and Wet weather gear.
