Medium walk covering about 15 -16 km. This park has beautiful red river gums and woodland areas. It is home to retired racehorses and there is a lovely cafe that serves wonderful scones with jam and cream which we could stop for morning tea. We will then walk to Gellibrand lookout which gives a wonderful view of the city skyline and the airport where you can see planes taking off and landing. There is also Dundonald ruins which is the remains of an old stone building. From there we will return to the cars via some eucalyptus forests.
The trail is not steep but undulating and in parts flat.
