Mt Sugarloaf KL NP Return

We will meet at 0915 for for car pooling at Eltham Little Theatre and set off at 0930 ($7.00 per head).  Taking the KG St Andrews Rd (C728) and then Heidelberg KL Rd (C746) into King Lake.  We will then take the KL Whittlesea Rd (C724 to Kinglake West and turn left into National Park Road to the Entrance area car park [Blackwood Picnic Area - Mel Page 9 M1] arriving at about 1030.  The bush track to Mt Sugarloaf begins off this carpark.

From there we will walk there and back to Mt Sugarloaf on the bush track that runs close to Sugarloaf Rd.  Approximately 8 KM or 2.5 hours with morning tea break.  There were may fallen trees across this track when last walked in Set 2023.
