Walk Description
A circuit walk starting in Menzies Creek. Take in sweeping views across pasture lands and bush, Silvan Dam and even Port Phillip and Western Port Bays on a clear day. Walking is a combination of gravel roads, verges, forest paths, and a little bit of bitumen. There are ups and downs and we follow the pretty Menzies Creek on board walks for a time. This walk has it all hopefully including a passing Puffing Billy. Bring poles, water, morning tea & lunch. Meet at Hermons Saddle Reserve, Melway Map 124, C11. at 8.45 for 9.00am start straight up a steep dirt road. 12.5km and quite shaded in parts.
The drive from Eltham is approx. 115 km and 1h 35 m.
