Scenic World to Leura Forest along the forest floor

Purchase Scenic World tickets (concession - currently $52.50) online and book entry time beforehand.  Nominate someone to buy tickets for everyone and get paid back later to be quicker. Scenic World open 9-5 on Sat & Sun 10-4 weekdays. We rode Gondola out and back, then took train down to the bottom. Gate to Federal Pass next to the bottom train station. At 10am we walked out on the Federal Pass to Dardanelles Track. We had morning tea at Dardanelles Track/Federal Pass intersection (seats there). Then walked clockwise along Dardanelles track past the Golden Staircase to Leura Forest.  Spent half an hour here looking at moss/trees etc.  5 min walk along Dardanelles Track to the cascades is worth doing - saw lyrebirds.  Return to Scenic World on the Federal Pass track - lunch back at the Dardanelles Track intersection.  Back at Scenic World we did the 50 minute boardwalk to the Sky Cable. People then could take more rides or head home. Walk was around 10kms. We left early at 8.30am and queued up so that we were first on the Gondola.  Returned back to caravan park around 3.30pm.
