Katoomba - Wentworth Falls Circuit

Another absolutely stunning walk.  We did it clockwise down the Undercliff/Overcliff track and the extra loop at the end taking in Empress Falls and Asmodeus Pool, Edinburgh Castle Rock and more lookouts and even more steps.  The extra loop (grade 4 hard) may be difficult after rain due to a creek crossing that could be underwater. Walking the side of the cliff through underhanging rock and through ferns and wet areas (great track with lots of stepping stones) and of course up and down some very steep stairs.  We took in nearly every lookout we could find and they were all amazing views.  Lunch was at the Conservation Hut which was closed but lots of picnic tables and views.  Started at 8.30am and finished at 2.15pm.  Not a long walking distance but a very long time - perhaps we took too many photos. But we did have a thoroughly enjoyable day.
