Meet at Yarrambat Picnic area for an 8:30am departure.  Car pooling will be available or alternatively you can arrange your own transport and join us just around the corner of the Wallan Rd in Whittlesea at 8:45am.  There is a church car park if you don't want to park on the verge. We will convoy down about 6.5km along Wallan Rd to Bruces Creek Road, then take a turn right and then continue to the base of Mt Disappointment.

The walk rises 400m to the ridge mostly through tall Mountain Ash and then into the picnic ground of Mt Disappointment for lunch.  there are some steep sections where poles would be useful.

Please bring morning tea, lunch and plenty of water.
