Summary: 11kms, easy/medium on nice wide bush tracks with some ups and downs.

This walk takes an easier route to the top of Andrew Hill than the one that is usually taken and will suit members who no longer want to attempt steep climbs and prefer shorter walks but still want a good workout. The walk starts from the junction of Bushy Park Estate Rd with the Kinglake-Glenburn Road, about 5 km from Kinglake Central. It takes the Mountain Creek Track to the junction with the Dusty Miller Track and then takes the Dusty Miller Track to the top of Andrews Hill.  It returns via the Andrew Hill and Mountain Creek tracks. The walk is about 11 km and is graded easy-medium. 

The meeting point for car pooling is the Eltham Little Theatre car park at 8:15am for an 8:30am departure. If you are intending to go direct to the walk starting point you should be there ready to start walking by 9:15am. Please indicate in the comments whether you intend to car pool or meet at the walk starting point. 

Please bring water, morning tea and lunch. Poles could be useful for the descent from Andrews Hill if you use them.
