An 11km hard walk in the Cathedral Ranges that follows tracks amongst spectular rock formations across the ridge and offers great views of the surrounding country side.

Walk from Cooks Mill Campground up to the Jawbone Track and along the ridge towards the Main Cathedral Peak and return via Neds Gully Track back to the start.  Very spectacular rock formations and great views.  If we have time we can continue the Cathedral Track towards Little Cathedral before descending.

This walk involves clambering along the rocky ridge for a significant portion of the walk.   Walkers need to be able to make reasonable progress in this environment.

The walk is about 11km including a long climb to ridge and down from the ridge.

Poles may be useful on descent, they tend to not be much help along the ridge.

Thank you to David Stubbings for contributing this walk.
