Departing at 9.30am from the carpark at the Somerton Road Picnic Area (Melways 178 6B) at Woodlands Historic Park, we will follow the trail through the plantation to Gelibrand Hill.  After enjoying the views (and morning tea) from the hill, we will follow the park boundary and the Moonee Ponds Creek bike path to the homestead (and lunch).,  The cafe should be open at the homestead for a coffee.  From there we will then follow the Moonee Ponds Creek back to the carpark.

A generally easy walk of about 14kms with a gentle rise to Gelibrand Hill.  If there has been rain, there may be a narrow creek crossing.  Bring morning tea, lunch and poles if you use them.
