Summary:  This is a medium hard walk of 14kms in the Lerderderg State Park. 

We meet at O'Brien's Crossing car park and follow the river along the picturesque Eastern track for approx 6/7kms. It's a well formed track but there will be some rock and log hopping and scrambling and knee high grass. After morning tea we continue to the junction of Eastern and Cowans tracks and then it's up a 700m hill to our lunch break. After lunch we follow the undulating Cowans track for 4kms approx, enjoying the lovely ridge top views, coming to O'Brien's Rd at the end of this track. We return to O'Brien's crossing via either the road or Shortcut track downhill for 4kms.

Bring walking poles water lunch and morning tea.
